She studied film history and film theory at the E\u00f6tv\u00f6s Lor\u00e1nd University, Budapest. Her current research focuses on experimental cinema, elemental media philosophy and alchemy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-text-subtitle has-medium-font-size is-style-text-subtitle--2 wp-block-paragraph\">M\u00e1t\u00e9 has been publishing articles in such journals as the\u00a0<em>Quarterly Review of Film and Video<\/em>\u00a0and the\u00a0<em>Millennium Film Journal<\/em>.
